Landscape in harmony

Five partners joined in the project „Landscape in harmony” to save natural values of the border region between Slovenia and Hungary. Inhabitants of the area have been using the land in harmony with nature for centuries, and this land use resulted in a uniquely rich wildlife. This natural heritage is now threatened by the decline of agriculture and the almost complete disappearance of animal husbandry. The project seeks the way to bring farming on grasslands alive again so that it ensures the preservation of natural values and sustainable development of the region at the same time.
